As dusk falls over the vast blue sea
And twinkling stars adorn the sky
I spot a lone ship in the distance
Drifting towards the horizon.
Gazing at the lights of the far away ship
A sense of sadness grips my heart
Its hard to explain what I feel
As I watch the ship move out of reach.
Tears well up in my eyes
Painful thoughts assaults my mind
A sense of loss pervades my core
As the ship disappears, I see it no more.
