Darkness falling all around me
I reach out to you as I always did
Fear clutched my heart
As empty air met my hands.
Eyes moving frantically all around
Tears threatening to flow.
Searching for some signs of your presence
As despair creeps into my soul
Glimpsing a moment in the distance
I run towards it
As I reach the place I realise
Its nothing but my eyes playing tricks
Sitting down in the unknown land
I let my tears flow
Silent sobs racked my body
As I face the fact that you are no more.
